Fans of the Cleveland Browns have suffered through some tremendously awful events, the most recent being last year’s 0-16 season. But reports out of the Spring OTA’s and Mini Camp seem to be largely optimistic, especially where the offense is concerned.
With HBO film crews on-site working on this season’s “Hard Knocks” series, training camp tickets will be a hot commodity around town. Pre-sales started this week to season ticket holders and Browns Backers and they’re going fast!
“Pre-sale for Training Camp Tickets?” you ask? Well, yes. Sort of. When the Browns drafted Johnny Manziel, they expected (and rightly so) a very circus-like atmosphere at Training Camp. They started “selling” training camp tickets on their website.
They are FREE so it’s really not sales, but you are limited to only three sessions per season, five tickets per session. This is really more like a registration for entry into camp. It allows the team to manage how many people will be at each session – and every one I’ve been to in the past couple of years has been filled to capacity.
Weekends are extra packed as families bring their kids to see the players, food trucks, play games and even see puppies and dogs that are brought in looking to be adopted. Add HBO to the usual Browns Fan T.C. frenzy and I know they will be sold out quickly!
Mark your calendars! 📅#BrownsCamp officially opens July 26th and will feature 15 free practices open to the public

On another note, the Annual Cleveland Browns Blood Drive will take place on Saturday, July 28. Per the Browns press release, you can join with fans from across the world by being part of the First and Ten movement and supporting the American Red Cross. There will be 12 locations throughout Northeast Ohio collecting your donations and, while supplies last, donors will receive a commemorative Browns First and Ten t-shirt.
Browns Alumni are always present at these events, with Frank Stams, Dave Wohlabaugh and Felix Wright making appearances at one location last year.
