Patriots 43 – Chiefs 40

I had a hard time watching the Patriots’ game on Sunday night. There were several reasons (Cris Collinsworth drives me nuts, for one), but I was on the edge of my seat and my blood was pumping.

I was trying to go back and forth between the Red Sox vs. Houston in ALCS game 2, and the Patriots/Chiefs game.

I can honestly say that no matter how exciting a close game is, I’m getting too old for it!   I thought I was going to have a heart attack.

New England Patriots 38 – Miami Dolphins 7

The Patriots looked like themselves again on Sunday. They beat the Miami Dolphins 38-7, and Miami’s seven points came in the 4th quarter.  It was almost like they were having an identity crisis earlier on.

As Patriots’ fans, we’ve been spoiled – we’ve seen a whole lot of winning. When the Patriots have a bad game, there’s no one better at coming back the next week and looking like a completely different team.

So the Patriots starting the season with a 1-2 record is a bitter pill to swallow for us. Most of us were sure that after the loss to the Jaguars, the Patriots would bounce back and walk out of Detroit with a win. But what we forgot is that Matt Patricia, now head coach of the Detroit Lions, knows the Patriots and he knows them well.

Browns Trade WR Corey Coleman…

Kate Arhar
Cleveland Browns Reporter

By Kate Arhar // @ClvlndK8

One of the perceived strengths of the Cleveland Browns heading into training camp was the wide receiver corps. The offseason acquisition of Jarvis Landry, the reinstatement of Josh Gordon, and the third year of first-round draft pick Corey Coleman had everyone – fans and media alike – projecting good things for the offense.

But last night the Browns traded Corey Coleman to the Buffalo Bills.

Wait, WHAT?!?!?
