Third and Short Week 14 Fantasy Takes with Wanda and Kate

By Wanda Wiedman and Kate Arhar

These games are causing havoc in all kinds of leagues. If you have Eli Manning on your roster, well, he is back so you can now use him if you choose to. As always, let’s begin with this week’s starts and sits.

WANDA STARTS SITS KATE STARTS SITS
QB Andy Dalton: The Bears defense has done diddly to stop passing QBs. Cam Newton: Vikings have allowed just 13.2 fantasy points per game to QBs. QB Jimmy Garoppolo: Against the 31st rank defense, it’s a no-brainer. Jameis Winston: May be rushing his return that could lead to turnovers vs Lions.
Alex Smith: Raiders have allowed positive yards to QBs this season. Matthew Stafford: With an injured hand it could be a factor. Bucs tough on QBs at home. Josh McCown: Broncos allow more passing yards to QBs. Must start! Kirk Cousins: LAC defense is just brutal.
RB Rex Burkhead: Rex had a big game against the Fins early in the season and will do it again. DeMarco Murray: The Cardinals have only given up 2 rushing TDs to RBs so far. RB Peyton Barber: He has done pretty well taking over for an injured Doug Martin. Duke Johnson: With Gordon back, no more slot catches for him.
Giovani Bernard: Bears have not been able to stop the run. Latavius Murray: Panthers are stingy against the run. Kenyan Drake: Tough matchup vs Patriots but should get some decent points. Javorius Allen: They will let Danny Woodhead take the carries this time.
WR Marquise Goodwin: Jimmy G has found his go-to target. Nice matchup vs Texans Jamison Crowder: LAC has allowed only 60 yards to slot receivers. WR Michael Crabtree: Back from suspension he has a lot to prove. DeSean Jackson: Jackson is a better option than Crowder.
Davante Adams: Against the Browns, it should be a pretty good day for Hundley. Doug Baldwin: Jaguars secondary is merciless to wide receivers. Josh Gordon: Gordon’s breakout back will be against the Packers. Nelson Agholor: His touches are overshadowed by Alshon Jeffery success.
TE Hunter Henry: Rivers is loves throwing to him. Redskins struggle against TEs. Greg Olsen Even though he is back, Vikings will double team him. TE David Njoku: His consistency is starting to pay off. Sleeper pick! Vernon Davis: Has been a dud last few weeks.
Jason Witten: Big target against that Prescott will need to depend on against G-men. Austin Hooper: Saints D will make every effort to shut him down. Austin Seferian-Jenkins is baaack!. Broncos give it up to the TE. Jared Cook: Chiefs have allowed 3rd fewest fantasy points to TEs.
