After months of speculation, it finally happened. Wide receiver Golden Tate was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for a 3rd round pick in next year’s draft.
Tate had been the subject of many rumors since the offseason. Not too long after the season started, we found out that there was talk of trading him for Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski plus a first round pick. It didn’t happen so most probably forgot about it until the trade deadline got closer and closer. Then the rumor mill got going strong again. Then today, the news broke that he was going to Philadelphia.
