The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears meet for the 197th time Sunday night, more than any two teams in NFL history. I’m always surprised at how close these two teams are – the Packers lead this rivalry 96-94-6.

It’s going to be an incredibly exciting game, no matter which team you root for. (#GoPackGo) Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is finally back and healthy, and for Bears fans, having linebacker Khalil Mack on the team is the equivalent of Christmas in September.

Here is just a bit of what to watch Sunday night:

Bears OLB Khalil Mack vs. Packers RT Bryan Bulaga

Mack is easily one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. However, he hasn’t played a regular season game since the end of 2017, so it remains to be seen how much gameplay he will see.

The biggest challenge of this game will fall on the shoulders of Bryan Bulaga. He will have to fight to keep Aaron Rodgers clean. He played well in the final preseason game, so I’m hopeful here.

Both players will be coming into the game a bit rusty.  Mack, having not played as many games last season, and Bulaga will be coming off the PUP list following an ACL injury.  Bulaga will need to put that injury behind him and regain the speed necessary to match a player of Mack’s caliber.

Packers WR Davante Adams vs. Bears CBs Kyle Fuller and Prince Amukamara

Adams might be my favorite Packer after Rodgers. Ironically, in March, the Packers made a play for Kyle Fuller, but the Bears matched the deal and Fuller didn’t join Green Bay. Adams can easily take on Amukamara, but it will be a closer matchup if Fuller ends up tailing Adams Sunday night.

Green Bay’s Secondary

This is a younger squad than we’ve seen in recent years and there have been a lot of moving parts this offseason. Green Bay added Louisville cornerback Jaire Alexander in the first round of this year’s draft, and took another cornerback in the second round, choosing Josh Jackson out of Iowa.

After picking up my favorite backup quarterback DeShone Kizer, the Packers traded away safety Damarious Randall to the Browns. We all know I’ve always been a fan of FS Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, but his play has been a bit lackluster as of late.

I’m taking Green Bay 30-20 to win this game. What is your prediction? Tweet me at @lucyrk78 and let me know!
