Daniel Jones has been named Giants starting QB

Football’s favorite little brother has had a lackluster past couple of years, starting with being benched for QB Geno Smith in 2017. When the Giants drafted Jones with their first pick in this past April’s draft, most thought that this was a sign that it was really going to be the end for Manning this year. Well, the Giants made it official yesterday.
All around Twitter, tweets came in thanking the 4 time Pro Bowler, the 2016 Walter Payton Man of The Year, and two time Super Bowl champion.
While I’m excited for the Danny Dimes era to start, let me just make one thing clear….
Eli Manning gave us two unforgettable superbowls and some of the best memories of this football team. For that, I say #ThankYouEli

He’s been the butt of countless jokes over the years, but I am forever greatful Eli Manning ended up with the Big Blue. Some of my life’s greatest sports memories are because of you. Forever our QB. #ThankYouEli pic.twitter.com/CsRsFh5sjo

The thing I remember most about Eli Manning was in 2007. I was working out with a trainer and she was a HUGE Giants fan. We were talking about Manning and she said that he probably had so much pressure on him from his family and the fans that he probably threw up before every game.
Well, he got over it that year, because, as we all know, he went on to beat the Patriots and get his first Super Bowl win.
Nothing but respect for Mr. Manning!
