Come chat Raiders with me // @teverlyl
NF: Where did you learn about football – When? and from Who?
TL: I began to learn about football from watching my father coach a local high school football team. I was just a kid, about 4 or 5 years old. My father would take care of me on the weekends. In addition to watching him coach I would watch USC football and Rams games with him.
NF: Priorities of Life – What are your top 3?
TL: My top 3 priorities in life are my health, my closest friends and family, and obviously my life revolves around sports (More specifically football).
NF: If you had any job in the world – what would it be, and why?
TL: If I had any job in the world I would probably be a sports physician. I have been a certified and licensed massage therapist for over 12 years. I enjoy working on athletes, especially where recovery from injuries are concerned, and I’ve always had an interest in sports medicine.
NF: How has your association with NFLFemale been a positive influence in your world?
TL: I feel that women being recognized in professional sports and sports media is a huge movement. Being associated with NFLFemale has given me the confidence to interject my opinion in conversations I would normally be left out of. i.e. When a guy comes up to my boyfriend and I because we’re dressed in Raiders gear and immediately starts talking Raiders football with him, he says right away, “She writes about the Raiders for NFLFemale. Talk to her!”.
NF: If you want to know the real side of sports legends, listen to their kids and grandkids. What do you hope others say about you?
TL: I don’t hope. I know that people will say I’m a person of my word. Very loyal, and diplomatic. Would bend over backwards to help any friend or family member who would ask, to the best of her ability. Embraces health and wellness to the fullest, and loves to share knowledge. An avid RAIDERS FAN, no matter what, until the end. #RN4L
