Uncertainty and expectation for the NFL’s AFC South Division

As we move towards the start of the 2020 NFL season, one thing has become crystal clear is that we are going to at least HAVE some sort of an NFL football season. We’ll even see the Vince Lombardi trophy hoisted in the air sometime around February 2021.

Many fans and season ticket holders are waiting for official word on just how the NFL is expected to handle seating amidst the COVID -19 threat, or if they’ll have seating for fans at all. Team facilities have started to slowly open back up and the coaching staff has been given permission to return to work with certain protocols set in place by the NFL.

The AFC South: an interview with Antwan Staley

This week, I got a chance to talk with Antwan Staley (@antwanstaley) about the AFC South.

It seems the NFL has been plagued with more quarterback issues than usual, and this division definitely has it’s share of those. From Andrew Luck leaving the Colts to the Jaguars going all-in on Nick Foles only to lose him to injury to Marcus Mariota getting benched for Ryan Tannehill, what more could go wrong?

So I figured, who better to ask about what’s going on in the AFC South then my friend Antwan?

Staley is a football writer, an @EastCarolina alumni, a self-proclaimed “Hip Hop historian” and Chicken Wing Connoisseur. He has extensive experience covering Florida sports teams. AFC South: Week 2 Review

Week 2 of the AFC South schedule saw all 4 teams battling each other for control of the South.

While the Texans and Colts have won 9 out of 10 seasons, the Jaguars and Titans are pushing to end that reign.

Both teams failed to gain any ground within the division, but it’s still early and there is a lot of football to go. This division could come down to the final games late in December.
