In 2018 the Seattle Seahawks were supposed to be “rebuilding”. The famed Legion of Boom was gone. The offense hadn’t been the same since Marshawn Lynch left. It was supposed to be an off-year and expectations were low. Instead, the team went 10-6 and made the playoffs. In 2019 they have the highest-paid player in the league and a slew of young, hungry players who are itching to make their mark. While fans and media expectations still may not be sky high, the team believes they are right where they need to be to make another run.

The holiday season looking bright for the Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks Reporter

By Dayna O’Gorman // @DaynaOG

December, the time of year that brings us fun holidays, great times with family and friends, and a bright new year. But for Seattle Seahawks fans, it also brings their teams best football of the year. This year seems to be no different. Lets look at the gifts Seattle fans are receiving this year. Gifts that will help take the Seahawks to the post season.

Could anyone ask for a better present than the gift of having linebacker Bobby Wagner on their team? Wagner is the best linebacker in football and I dare you to argue it with me. After his insane game on Sunday against San Francisco, Wagner has 100 tackles, 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles, and a beautiful interception that was run back 98 yards for a touchdown. Without question, he is in his prime and we as Seahawks fans are lucky to have him.

Damore’ea Stringfellow winning over the Seahawks coaches in preseason

Wide receiver Damore’ea Stringfellow is no stranger to many in Seattle, but a name not well known in the NFL. He is working hard to change that during the preseason.

Stringfellow’s football career didn’t start off on the best foot. After playing for the University of Washington, he was suspended from the team for fighting with Seahawks fans after the Seattle Super Bowl win. He then transferred to Ole Miss where he played for 2 seasons. In his final season there, he caught 46 passes, for 716 yards and 6 touchdowns.

He went undrafted in 2017, but was picked up by the Miami Dolphins. He was waived by the Dolphins prior to the season starting but was signed by the New York Jets. He spent the season on the practice squad.

Seattle signed him to a contract a few months ago, and Stringfellow has been impressing people ever since. With there being a lot of competition at the WR position in Seattle, most didn’t have him making it to the 53 man roster. However, after the first preseason game, and the way he has shown up in practice, minds are being changed.

The Seahawks Play A Complete Game

By Shannon Sanchez // @ShannonSanchez3

Seahawks 24 – Eagles 10

This is arguably the most complete game that the Seahawks have played this year.  From the opening drive, the game seemed to go in favor of the Seahawks.  The offense was led by quarterback Russell Wilson who once again turned into a wizard.  He was scrambling his way out of would-be sacks and finding receivers like tight end Jimmy Graham for the 9th time in 8 games.
