Yes, I know you were expecting a podcast…. but due to technical difficulties, you’re stuck with reading our Starts and Sits for Week 6, including injury options and Bye Week replacements! Also, this week we’ve picked a few twitter followers with questions that we’ll answer here as well. Good Luck!
Four Teams on Bye…Bills, Bengals, Cowboys and Seahawks
HOU Deshaun Watson vs Browns.
WAS Kirk Cousins vs 49ers./ Niners have allowed 8 total TDs and an average of 266.4 pass yards per matchup.
IND Jacoby Brissett vs Titans / Brissett has found his rhythm
If your QB’s on bye, you can pick up Andy Dalton, Trevor Siemian and Case Keenum off Waivers
PIT Ben Roethlisberger vs Chiefs / Until Big Ben fixes his issues, Chiefs will pick him off double
LAR Jared Goff vs Jags / Jags defense is the real deal and the run game will be crucial.
IND TY Hilton vs Titans / Titans have allowed 3rd most points 39.64 PPR to wideouts so far.
NE Chris Hogan vs Jets / He is going to have another good week, this time against a Jets D that has allowed 5 TDs to wideouts in their first 4 games.
HOU Will Fuller vs Browns / Back with a vengeance after suspension. A must-start against the Browns
MIN Adam Thielen
LAR Sammy Watkins vs Jags / Jags have made it tough on wideouts.
GB Randall Cobb vs Vikings / Vikings have held Cobb to just 12 touches for 131 yards in 4 career games.
NO Alvin Kamara – with the trade of Adrian Peterson to ARI, Kamara should pick up most of his touches. While Mark Ingram may see more TD carries, Kamara will be fighting for that spot and should look good vs Detroit
NEW Mike Gillislee – the Patriots like to switch back and forth between targets so after last week’s performance from James White, it’s Gillislee’s turn this week
BAL Alex Collins – he should be available on waivers if you need a replacement for Shady McCoy or Zeke.
NYG Wayne Gallman – I’ve been hopeful each week because this kid has a ton of talent, but Giants O-line is a hot mess.
HOU D’Onte Foreman – they’re playing Cleveland. Do I really have to say anything else?
CLE Isaiah Crowell – grab someone else this week, I’ve got a bad feeling…
NYG Evan Engram – so yeah, the Giants are a mess but Eli has to throw to somebody and Evan looks good.
DEN AJ Derby – who? Yeah, he’s had a week off and Giants are giving up a TD to a TE every week.
TB Cameron Brate – still on this guys bandwagon and he’s available in most leagues.
DET Eric Ebron – nothing but a disappointment this season and this week vs New Orleans
LAC Antonio Gates – he hasn’t done much all year no reason to think he’ll start vs a tough Raiders defense
MIA Julius Thomas – there are other options in Miami. Julius hasn’t been one this year.
WAS Dustin Hopkins vs 49ers/ Niners have allowed more fantasy points to kickers this season
DET Matt Prater vs Saints / Kickers Forbath and Gostowski scored double digits against Saints.
IND Adam Vinatieri / Stick with him because he is that good!!
AZ Phil Dawson vs Bucs / Bucs have surrendered a mere 7.35 points per game this season
JAX Jason Myers vs Rams / Rams defense has allowed an average of 7.4 per game to kickers
BAL – I’m a huge Mitchell Trubisky fan, but the Ravens are going to be in his face all day
DEN – I believe we might have mentioned that the Giants are a hot mess, right?
CLE – maybe I’m just a homer, but Myles Garrett’s second game should bring some defensive points and if you need a bye week replacement, they’re available.
PIT – Kansas City is 5-0 for a reason.
LAR – Jacksonville and Blake Bortles are getting theirs every single week, bad matchup for the opposing defense
TEN – Jacoby Brissett and the Colts may not win, but they’ll put up points and no turnovers…
Ppr. Flex spot. J. Allen, J. White , T. Cohen, or R. Kelly
— Always positive Jay (@jaybhnk) October 11, 2017
@jaybhnk – Tarik Cohen and Javorius Allen. Definitely.
Would you play Frank Gore this week or trade him up for someone more consistent?
— Marquita Quinones (@Latinlove729) October 11, 2017
@Latinlove729 – sit Gore this week, rookie Marlon Mack will be getting the start so Gore’s touches will be limited.
When will the Browns be good? #ThatsMyFantasy
— NotThatGuy (@TimInToledo) October 12, 2017
@TimInToledo – I’m not sure when they will be good, but I guarantee the will not lose Week 9!
Thanks everyone! Hopefully next Wednesday we’ll be back on the Audio Waves!
